In 2018 my fourth and last baby had turned 8 months old and I was sitting at my part time job thinking, now what? I was 33 years old and had already been to college once for medical assisting. I felt the urge that I should be doing something with my life or at least working towards a better career, but I had no idea what I should do. I was talking to my best friend about it and she said, why don’t you write? Over the past years I’d had a touch and go experience with writing and she’d knew that I loved creating stories but had only ever considered it as a hobby. So, I started writing my first, finished, novel, The Weeping House. I found my calling while doing so. It took me a long time and it was a struggle with being a mother and working part to full time. I am still struggling but it’s a good struggle that I am happy to fight through every day. I believe that anyone can do anything they want if they work hard enough and want it bad enough. The human mind and body are amazing, and we are created in the image of a mighty God. I am doing what I love, and I want to write stories that my readers love. I want my readers happy and entertained when they read one of my books. Writing is my first joy, entertaining you for a while is my second.
